Sustainability Reports
Decarbonization, digitalization and mobility are the three core strategy topics of WSW Wuppertaler Stadtwerke GmbH, for which we developed a publication concept in close cooperation with the WSW team. In the first publication, the Wuppertal municipal utilities present their decarbonization strategy. The clear goal: 100% climate neutrality in energy supply and public transport by 2035.
Task
Conception of a publication concept, layout and design as well as realization of the first three sustainability reports.
Idea
Trees are the lungs of the earth and bind CO2 to a high degree. We use this symbol as a visualization feature to make the topic of decarbonization tangible for the viewer.
Solution
By means of visualization through tree slices, roots and development stages, the Wuppertal public utility presents its commitment of the last years and names its target project until 2035.
